The Chargers will play nine games in 2025 against opponents who won at least 10 games in 2024, including the Chiefs, Vikings, and Eagles.
The Chargers have officially announced their home and away opponents for the 2025 season and the team’s recent success will have them facing one of the toughest schedules in the upcoming year.
Most notably, the Chargers will have nine games against opponents who won at least 10 games in 2024. Four of those will come against the Chiefs (15-2) and Broncos (10-7), but the other five will all take place at home against the Eagles (14-3), Vikings (14-3), Commanders (12-5), Steelers (10-7), and Texans (10-7).
The Chargers’ road schedule is much more palatable to the eye. Outside of the AFC West, they will travel to the Titans (3-14), Jaguars(4-13), Giants (3-14), Cowboys (7-10), and Dolphins (8-9).
To paint a clearer picture, the Chargers’ home opponents have a combined record of 85-34 this past season. Their road opponents have a combined record of 50-69. The goal of protecting SoFi Stadium is going to be one tough task in 2025.
