Technically, all of the main cogs of the Chargers’ current offensive line are under contract for 2024. Trey Pipkins, Jamaree Salyer, Zion Johnson, and Rashawn Slater all have multiple years left on their deals. Corey Linsley is on the cap sheet for 2024 as of now. But he restructured his 2024 contract with the Chargers in order to reduce his cap hit with retirement seeming likely. At his season-ending media availability in January, Linsley said there is a “99%” chance he retires.
Unlike some other areas on the roster, the Chargers’ offensive line group doesn’t have too many high-priority free agents. Still, one has to wonder what a Jim Harbaugh-Greg Roman nucleus means for the currently rostered offensive linemen and if there could be tweaks to the starting group outside of Linsley’s retirement.
