According to the breaking news, the Packers are investing in Watson for at least one more year after the 2025 campaign in a shocking twist. It seems like the team sees a future in Watson even though he’s still recovering from his torn ACL injury from last year. Watson and Doubs were drafted together in the 2022 NFL Draft, and it looks like they see Watson more in a prominent role when he returns. They must figure out what they want their offense to look like, and Doubs could be a solid temporary fit while they wait for Worthy to get healthy again. While they’re looking into getting Tyreek Hill back in Kansas City, it might be too costly for this team’s future.
Doubs serves as a safeguard for this passing game between Marquise Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster. They won’t get the same speed as they do from Rice or Worthy, but Mahomes would be getting a receiver who is solid in length and can catch the deeper balls.
Baltimore Ravens
Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens have one of the most explosive receivers after DeAndre Hopkins signed with them.
