The Miami Dolphins could likely release star wide receiver Tyreek Hill after his latest incident with his wife. According to the breaking news, local Florida police have been responding to the matter, and the future of Hill could be in danger. As of this posting, there have been no arrests made, but minutes after Hill got “aggressive and impulsive,” Alesia Vacarro, the mother of Hill’s wife, called the police as she feared for her safety. However, this isn’t the first time that Hill was in this type of domestic dispute as there have been times this has happened.
Unfortunately, the sources speak for themselves, and the Dolphins could wind up releasing him due to his recent actions. Originally selected in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the former West Alabama product’s days could be numbered as he was in several trade discussions this offseason. While the Dolphins weren’t open to trading him, Hill did tease a request that he may want out of Miami, but it looks like the team is the one that is going to give him the boot. The wide receiver may find himself outside the league for a while if the Dolphins decide to release the star, but these five teams could give him one more chance in the league.
BREAKING: Dolphins Could Release All-Pro Tyreek Hill After Latest Incident – Will Anyone Want Him?
Next Possible Teams
Kansas City Chiefs
Unfortunately, the Kansas City Chiefs are no stranger to off-field antics revolving around incidents with wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice. Hill has been here before, so this could be his last shot to make up for time lost in Kansas City. If the Chiefs were able to give Rice and Worthy a second chance, they might be lenient in giving Hill to team up with these two speedsters in the future.
Baltimore Ravens
However, the Baltimore Ravens still need a long-term answer at WR3 despite signing DeAndre Hopkins. He’s more a short-term option who is only looking to win a ring before he retires. If they fail the experiment next year, they could pursue Tyreek Hill to give some new life to Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers need a consistent wide receiver in the worst way possible. Mike Williams is returning, but he’s way past his prime and likely won’t make a difference. 2024 draft pick Ladd McConkey is the only set of reliable hands as he could be quarterback Justin Herbert’s favorite weapon. Hill might change the landscape moving to the West Coast and fix the entire pass-catching unit to finally get them back in the AFC Championship Game.
Dallas Cowboys
Jerry Jones loves to give second chances to athletes, and Tyreek Hill could be one who might be desperate of looking for work if he ends up on the chopping block. The Dallas Cowboys have yet to find a capable wideout to pair with CeeDee Lamb since losing Brandin Cooks to New Orleans. They did mention they’re going to be “passive aggressive,” so maybe this could signal a Hill signing if he becomes available.
Washington Commanders
Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders are in the best position to win a Super Bowl soon. If they somehow miss the big game next year, it might be time for the team to trade for a superstar wideout for Jayden Daniels. Deebo Samuel is more of an experiment who could fit, so if he doesn’t perform well, the team may consider bringing in Hill.
