At least one Bleacher Report believes free agent wide receiver Elijah Moore has a chance to sign elsewhere coming soon. The first wave of NFL Free Agency is over as there is still plenty of talent available in the market like Moore could find a new home. Moore is one of the seven free agents on the “under-the-radar” list as rosters continue to fill their clubs this offseason with talent. Originally selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the former Ole Miss product put up mediocre numbers with the Browns but he has plenty of upside at age 24 and could be a useful gadget for anyone looking for a consistent weapon.
Moore began his career with the New York Jets being one of the targets for former quarterback Zach Wilson. However, he didn’t see the ball much even though he put up 43 receptions for 538 receiving yards and five touchdowns in his rookie year. The wide receiver has been dealing with mediocre quarterbacks for an entire career playing for Deshaun Watson for the Cleveland Browns. Both quarterbacks have been facing injuries and a lack of consistency for their career so that could be a strong reason why he hasn’t been able to put up at least a 1,000-yard season.
Despite that, Moore will be better off signing with a quarterback who has a capable arm and brings out the best in him, so these three teams could do just that.

Possible Next Teams
Los Angeles Chargers
This could be the best possible place for Elijah Moore to establish in a new scenery where the Los Angeles Chargers need a new consistent wide receiver. Last season, 2024 draft pick Ladd McConkey was the only reliable set of hands, and while he has a bright future, no one should bet on him to carry the entire pass-catching department. The team signed Mike Williams which only gives the Chargers temporary relief for quarterback Justin Herbert as the wideout isn’t the same. There’s a reason why the team let him go last offseason so they should probably get another wide receiver to make up for it.
Quentin Johnston is too inconsistent for this team and he will probably play his final season with the Chargers before his eventual release. Meanwhile, Joshua Palmer left for greener pastures so the team could use a guy like Moore. It allows John Harbaugh to turn him into a homegrown talent.
Dallas Cowboys
If anyone in this league needs a wide receiver, it’s the Dallas Cowboys. CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott were in contact with Cooper Kupp but the asking price was out of range for the organization. With that, the Cowboys could sign Moore at a bargain and he could fit the billing given he has upside but hasn’t proved it yet.
Kansas City Chiefs
For the Chiefs, the wide receiver room might be all over the place this upcoming season. Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy could face suspensions while one-year Marquise Brown is coming back but there’s no long-term investment there. DeAndre Hopkins is gone and since JuJu Smith-Schuster is returning as well, they should sign Moore to give Patrick Mahomes to potentially form him into a reliable target.
