The Ohio State receiver could help ignite the Los Angeles Chargers offense
It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Chargers were a primary candidate to target one of the explosive groups of receivers of the 2024 NFL Draft. Though Jim Harbaugh and the crew ultimately forewent that direction by selecting standout tackle Joe Alt, the receiver position still needs addressing even with the breakout of second round stud Ladd McConkey.

Egbuka is one of the most smooth and electric receivers in the class, and though he is primarily a slot receiver, can be moved around the field as yet another threat on this Justin Herbert lead offense. Egbuka has been ultra productive during his time at Ohio State, including a 2024 season that saw him top 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns for the National Champion Buckeyes.
It’s quite possible Egbuka could go earlier than the Chargers’ range, but most mock drafts currently published have him in this range and he could be an absolute steal for Los Angeles and its offense. With another leap from Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston, the Chargers could boast some heavy firepower in the competitive AFC West.
Is Emeka Egbuka a player you would like to see the Chargers draft this April?
