Trent Perry, the four-star point guard from Harvard Westlake (CA), is staying home.
Ranked the No. 8 combo guard in the 247Sports.com Composite, Perry chose Southern Cal overColorado, TCU, Oregon, Gonzaga and Stanford.
“Basically they let their guards go,” he told ZAGSBLOG before the commitment. “It’s close to home, I have a good relationship with Coach [Andy] Enfield and coach [Chris] Capko and I have an opportunity to really be impactful with their winning, so that’s his messsage.”

Now plans to make an impact.
“I’ll bring everything,” he said. “I’m like an all-around player. I can pass, shoot, defend, I’ll just bring my all. I can do everything on the floor and I’ll just impact winning.”
He joins shooting guard Liam Campbell in USC’s 2024 class.
