UCLA is poised to add two foreign stars to its roster for the upcoming season in 7-foot-3 Spanish big man Aday Mara and 6-9 forward Berke Buyuktuncel of Turkey.
The news was reported by Jon Rothstein after UCLA coach Mick Cronin said in a radio interview the team will announce two signings next week.
Mara averaged 5.3 points and 3.2 rebounds last season for Basket Zaragoza.
Buyuktuncel averaged 11.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists for Turkey in the recent FIBA U19 World Cup.
The Bruins lost Jaime Jaquez Jr. , Amari Bailey and Jaylen Clark to the NBA Draft and will now reload with elite foreign talent.
UCLA is poised to join the Big Ten in 2024.
