Former South Dakota State forward William Kyle III has committed to UCLA, he announced on X Wednesday.
The 6-9 sophomore averaged 13.1 points and 6.6 rebounds this season while shooting 62.3% from the field. He dropped 14 points and 7 rebounds in the Jackrabbit’s opening NCAA Tournament game against No. 2 Iowa State.
Kyle, a native of Bellevue (NE.), is Mick Cronin and UCLA’s fifth transfer addition this season. The Bruins have filled out a strong roster, including former USC guard Kobe Johnson, Eric Dailey (Oklahoma State), Skyy Clark (Louisville) and Tyler Bilodeau (Oregon State). UCLA also brings in top-80 class of 2024 prospect Eric Freeny.
