Kentucky and UCLA are both set to hit the East Coast recruiting trail this weekend following their Saturday matchup in the CBS Sports Classic.
The No. 16 ranked Bruins and No. 13 ranked Wildcats are 1-1 against each other in the event that began in 2014. This is the first year it will be played in Madison Square Garden.
Brandon Williams, a four-star UCLA commit who plays for Christ the King (NY.), will be in attendance for Saturday’s game.
UCLA will then head over to the Bronx to watch Williams and CTK take on Cardinal Hayes on Sunday.
It will be the second time this week that UCLA has seen Williams following a matchup with Bronny James and Sierra canyon Monday night.
John Calipari and Kentucky will also be at the CTK – Cardinal Hayes game to watch the No. 2 overall player in the class of 2024 Ian Jackson.
The Wildcats have long been in on the Cardinal Hayes product as Jackson took a visit to Lexington back in October.
“Coach Cal’s message was him just figuring out what I wanted from basketball and when I told him what I wanted from this sport he said he believes he has all the tools to help me achieve those goals,” Jackson told ZAGSBLOG in September.
He also holds offers from LSU, North Carolina, and Oregon, among others.
