Restricted free agent Gabriel Vilardi signed a new deal today with the Winnipeg Jets, avoiding arbitration. He has really developed his game over the past few seasons, and this contract rewards that effort. The Ducks and defenseman Drew Helleson have agreed to a two-year contract extension, the team shared in a news release on Friday.
