As we review the season of every player for the Lakers, we’ll also take a daily look at the moments, games and quotes that fans enjoyed most from this season. Today, we continue with Bronny James.
To say Bronny James joining the Lakers was a long time coming would be an understatement. It was years in the making, with LeBron mentioning the idea of playing with Bronny four years ago, at least.
Still, even for as much as it was discussed and all the fanfare around it, it was genuinely a cool experience to see LeBron and Bronny take the court together in the Lakers’ first game this season, a moment that will easily highlight not just the seasons for father and son but their careers.
So, while that is going to be a shoo-in answer when looking back on Bronny’s rookie season, there were still plenty of fun moments. The other one that sticks out, though it came in a blowout loss, was him scoring his first basket in Cleveland and the reaction it got.
However, much of Bronny’s standout moments in terms of his play came in the G League. He really came into his own as the season went on, including pulling out highlight reel posters late in the season.
