Sports Fans React To LeBron’s Presidential Endorsement Thursday

November 2, 2024 by The Spun

Here’s A Look Inside LeBron James’ Los Angeles Mansion (1:14)

As we inch closer towards Election Day, there won’t be any speculation about LeBron James’ political views. On Thursday afternoon, he announced who he’ll be voting for on Nov. 5.

James has voiced his opinion on polarizing topics in the past, so it was only a matter of time before he endorsed a candidate for the 2024 presidential election. Considering he endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Barack Obama in 2012, people shouldn’t be shocked to find out that he’ll be voting for Vice President Kamala Harris, not former President Donald Trump.

“What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me,” James wrote. “VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!”

James shared a video that included footage from Trump’s recent rally at Madison Square Garden. It also included a few clips of Trump making head-scratching comments.

In a matter of minutes, James’ tweet was bombarded with comments. Some people praised his decision to endorse Harris, whereas others ripped him for it.

“The same group of people who were drooling over Nick Bosa wearing a MAGA hat are gonna be telling LeBron to shut up and dribble,” a fan wrote on X.

Another person said, “King James has spoken!! Please act accordingly!! Let’s go

“Proof you can be the greatest ever in your field, but completely incompetent and ignorant in others,” a third person tweeted.

“Your goat could never,” a social media user commented.

James might be asked to share more about his political opinion in the coming days.

With that said, James won’t be the time to back down from his original stance. It’s very apparent that he’ll be supporting Harris regardless of next Tuesday’s result.
