The Los Angeles Lakers have waived Shake Milton. Milton’s $3 million contract for the 2025-26 season was set to become guaranteed on Sunday. The Lakers needed to clear space in order to sign Marcus Smart.
Milton appeared in 57 games last season with the Brooklyn Nets and the Lakers, averaging 5.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.7 minutes.
