LeBron James is willing to earn less on his next contract with the Los Angeles Lakers so the team could potentially acquire DeMar DeRozan, sources told Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
James was willing to do the same for a potential Klay Thompson deal.
DeRozan, who is expected to leave the Bulls this offseason, could go to the Lakers for either a non-taxpayer midlevel exception or a sign-and-trade.
DeRozan is also entertaining signing a one-year contract at a lower figure.
