The resulting shoot produced an iconic photo that wound up on the cover of Sports Illustrated, complete with an audacious caption: “The Chosen One.” More than 22 years later, the high school jersey LeBron James was wearing that morning will be up for sale next month at a Julien’s Auctions event in Hong Kong. The jersey — which was also worn by James in a game that night, and for much of his junior season — is estimated to sell for somewhere between $1-2 million, which would set the record for a game-worn high school jersey.

Jeff Teague told a hilarious story on @club520podcast about how he’s 0-12 vs. LeBron in the playoffs. Is that a record for any individual playoff matchup in NBA history?
I looked at MJ, Magic, Steph, etc … Here’s what I found: tomthefinder.com/p/lebron-james… – 8:11 AM

Netflix: Jimmy Butler. Anthony Edwards. LeBron James. Domantas Sabonis. Jayson Tatum. Starting 5, a new Netflix Sports series, will follow their 2023-24 season on and off the court. Coming October 9. -via x.com / August 28, 2024
The Lakers legend unveiled the details of this in his latest appearance, via The Shop. “No, he can’t (call me dad). We already laid that down. He cannot call me dad in the workplace. Once we leave the practice facility and the gates close, I could be a dad again in the car if we ride together. No, he has got to call me like ‘2-3′ or ‘Bron’ or ‘GOAT’ if he wants to. I mean, it’s up to him,” LeBron declared. -via Clutch Points / August 27, 2024
LeBron is set to earn $48.7 million in the 2024-25 campaign after signing a 2-year, $101.4 million extension with the Lakers this summer. “I think he’s so competitive, it’s really gotta be something that he wants to do,” Buss told Petros and Money on AM 570 LA Sports. “We always support our players in the decisions that they make in regards to playing for their national team or not.” “It was something that was important to LeBron, and yes, he is our highest-paid player, but he’s still a bargain to me. He’s absolutely amazing,” Buss continued. -via BasketNews / August 27, 2024
