Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James recently returned to the lineup. James had missed the Lakers first 14 games while battling sciatica.
For now, James is happy to be back in the lineup, while referring to these games as his “preseason” as far as his conditioning goes. As for the future, James remains undecided if he’ll continue to play beyond this season.
The NBA’s all-time leading scorer is in the final season of his contract. James will be a free agent after this season, as he is not eligible to sign a contract extension. If this is James’ final season, he could feel responsibility for suiting up to play in every game he’s healthy for through the end of the season.
