Reactions keep coming after LeBron James revealed where his relationship with Michael Jordan stands during an hour-long conversation on the “Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar and the Chicago Bulls icon have been compared and pitted against each other even before the Cleveland Cavaliers selected James with the No. 1 overall pick out of high school in 2003.
“Me and Michael? We’re in a good spot,” James said. “We don’t talk. Because I’m still playing, I’m still focused on my craft right now… I would hope (that our relationship will improve once he finally retires).”

These remarks prompted analysts to clap back at James, including FOX Sports’ Craig Carton. On Thursday’s episode of “Breakfast Ball,” the analyst went off on James and called him “narcissistic” while adding that Jordan doesn’t like him.
“This is one of the most narcissistic, egotistical, and delusional human beings on earth,” Carton said. “For LeBron to suggest he has no relationship with Michael Jordan because he’s still playing… no. He doesn’t have a relationship because Michael doesn’t like him.”

The analyst said that Jordan previously had great relationships with active players, mentioning the late Kobe Bryant as the prime example.
His tell-all interview with McAfee showed an unknown side of James, but also responded to years of criticism and negative narratives surrounding him. The Lakers superstar is now taking control of what’s being said, regardless of how people feel about it.
The feud with Stephen A. Smith reached new levels after his interview and it’s unclear when or if it’ll ever end.
