The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to trade for a 3-and-D player, sources told Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
JJ Redick pointed out the team’s lack of point-of-attack defenders following their 132-119 loss to the Spurs in the NBA Cup.
“I think being able to contain the basketball is probably the most difficult thing for our team right now,” said Redick.
The Lakers have previously been linked with Herb Jones.
The team would be looking to add a player in the age range of 26-year-old Luka Doncic and 27-year-old Austin Reaves.
