Los Angeles is going to be a madhouse on Friday night.
Game 1 of the World Series will be taking place at Dodger Stadium while the Los Angeles Lakers will be hosting the Phoenix Suns for their second game of the 2024-25 NBA season.
Because of that, the Lakers want fans who are coming to Crypto.com Arena to leave a bit early because of traffic.
“Traffic Advisory: Due to multiple sporting events taking place near the arena today, heavy traffic is expected before and after the game. Please take into consideration when planning your trip to and from the arena,” the Lakers tweeted.
L.A. traffic is already insane as it is but it’s going to be extra bad with both the Lakers and Dodgers playing at home on Friday.
The Lakers are trying to win their second game in a row to open the season after they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 36 points and 16 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers are playing the New York Yankees in the World Series and are four wins away from their first world title since 2020 when they beat the Tampa Bay Rays.
First pitch will be at 8:08 p.m. ET on FOX while the Lakers will tip-off at 10 p.m. ET.
