Los Angeles Lakers fans received surprising news regarding Alex Len and Cam Reddish on Saturday morning. X account Legion Hoops shared an alleged report from Lakers insider Jovan Buha, which suggests the purple and gold were planning to cut Len, whom they signed after the trade deadline, and Reddish.
Hours later, Buha cleared up the situation, stating that he never said such a thing about Len and Reddish.
For the record, I never said this. https://t.co/ciziBk1FzC

With only a couple of weeks left in the 2024-25 NBA regular season, the Lakers can’t afford to lose two players, especially on the frontcourt, after they missed six players on Thursday.
Cam Reddish has played 33 games this season, averaging 17.8 minutes, 3.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. As for Len, he’s played eight games, averaging 12.8 minutes, 2.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists per outing.
Len arrived in Los Angeles after Anthony Davis was dealt to the Dallas Mavericks in the blockbuster trade for Luka Doncic and the failed move for Mark Williams of the Charlotte Hornets.
The Lakers are pushing for a top-two finish with a 43-26 record. Having a fully healthy roster will be mandatory. The 17-time NBA champions have dealt with injuries to LeBron James, Doncic and others, which has hurt their chances to win more games.
After Saturday night’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls, the Lakers will go on a four-game road trip against the Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls again and the Memphis Grizzlies, respectively. With Doncic James back on the roster, they should be back to their high level.
