The Los Angeles Lakers and center Christian Koloko have agreed to a contract. When Koloko receives clearance from the NBA’s Fitness to Play panel, he’ll sign his deal with the Lakers.
Koloko missed last season due to blood clots. The Toronto Raptors waived the promising young center in mid-January.
During his rookie season, Koloko averaged 3.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and a block in 13.8 minutes per game. The 7-foot-1 center seemed poised to enter last season as the primary backup for Jakob Poeltl.
