The Sacramento Kings are still interested in acquiring Jonathan Kuminga, sources told Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider.
Trade discussions between the Kings and Warriors over last offseason centered around Malik Monk, though the Warriors have no interest in taking on his salary.
With the Kings also not interested in surrendering a first-round pick, the two sides understand that they would have to get a third team involved in a potential deal.
The Suns are reportedly no longer interested in Kuminga. And with Anthony Davis potentially out until after the trade deadline, any trade between the Warriors and Mavs would have to wait until the offseason.
Fischer adds that the Lakers had interest in trading for Kuminga last offseason and continue to monitor his situation. The Lakers are looking to acquire a two-way forward before the deadline.
