Kelsey Plum named reserve for 2025 WNBA All-Star game

July 7, 2025 by Silver Screen And Roll

Atlanta Dream v Los Angeles Sparks

The Sparks will be represented at the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis by Kelsey Plum.

For the fourth time in her career, Kelsey Plum will take part in the All-Star game after being named to the 2025 WNBA All-Star team as a reserve.

Plum is the lone Spark to earn a spot on the team this season.

After coming over to Los Angeles in a trade, Plum is averaging 20.1 points per game, just a tick below her career high, to go along with career highs in assists and rebounds. She’s also averaging a career high in minutes at 35.9 per game as well.

In her new role this season, Plum has flourished, including a season high 37 points in the first game of the season. She’s eclipsed 25 points three other times and has had at least five assists in 12 of the 18 games she’s played this season.

Here are the rest of the reserves joining Plum:

  • Skylar Diggins, Seattle Storm
  • Alyssa Thomas, Phoenix Mercury
  • Kelsey Mitchell, Indiana Fever
  • Kiki Iriafen, Washington Mystics
  • Sonia Citron, Washington Mystics
  • Rhyne Howard, Atlanta Dream
  • Angel Reese, Chicago Sky
  • Kayla Thornton, Golden State Valkyries
  • Courtney Williams, Minnesota Lynx
  • Gabby Williams, Seattle Storm
  • Jackie Young, Las Vegas Aces

Last week, the starters for the game were announced with Paige Bueckers, Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu, Allisha Gray, Napheesa Collier, A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Aliyah Boston, Nneka Ogwumike and Satou Sabally.

This year, akin to the NBA in recent years, the WNBA will have a draft. The two captains this season are Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier.
