The continued fallout from Drake’s highly-publicized rap feud with Kendrick Lamar went a step deeper and crossed over into the sports world on Tuesday night.
As the “In My Feelings” rapper kicked off his Anita Max Win Tour in Australia ahead of Lamar’s Super Bowl 59 halftime performance, Drizzy appeared to take a thinly-veiled shot at Lakers superstar LeBron James.
The King was in attendance at Kendrick’s “Pop Out: Ken & Friends” show back on Juneteenth, in what would be the first of many victory laps for the West Coast MC — which understandably didn’t sit well with the man who tattooed James’ likeness on his arm.
While performing his “Scorpion”-era hit “Nonstop,” Drake changed the lyrics from “How I go from 6 to 23 like I’m LeBron?” to “How I go from 6 to 23 but not LeBron, man.”

Drizzy and LeBron were once reported to be close. But since the beef, Drake has decided to unfollow the NBA legend on social media — while still maintaining a relationship with Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, who publicly sided with him throughout the musical back-and-forth.
Drake’s alteration is just the latest in a string of crash outs since his very public L.
The Canadian hip-hop sensation took aim at James in last month’s “Fighting Irish” freestyle and has also put in motion legal action against his record label, UMG, alleging that it: “approved, published, and launched a campaign to create a viral hit out of a rap track that falsely accuses Drake of being a pedophile and calls for violent retribution against him.”
The suit is the first of its kind in the genre and has drawn scorn from many fans.
Fellow basketball stars Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan were also spotted at the “Pop Out,” with the former Raptors swingman even appearing in Lamar’s “Not Like Us” music video.
Drake has since said that Toronto should not retire DeRozan’s No. 10 jersey and even threatened that he would go as far as pulling it down if it ever happened.
