Bronny James keeps performing at a high level and showing that the work he’s put in with the Los Angeles Lakers and their G League affiliate, South Bay, is paying off.
Five days after scoring 17 points on the Milwaukee Bucks’ starters, James picked things up right where he left off and scored 39 points against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Monday.
James grabbed seven rebounds, dishing four assists and stealing four balls.
This impressive performance made James the youngest player to average at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists per game this G League season, per StatMamba.
After 10 games, James averages 20.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. Not even seasoned veterans like Mac McClung, TJ Warren or Warriors’ youngster Lester Quinones have posted this statline.
As the Los Angeles Lakers traveled to Orlando to play the Magic on Monday, James was on a mission against the Warriors.

James was heavily criticized in the wake of his selection as the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft. He’s shared his time between the Los Angeles and South Bay Lakers, showing that his game is improving every time he steps on the court.
