Bronny James, who is set to make his NBA debut later this year with the Los Angeles Lakers, appears to be very much in love.
The former USC Trojans guard, who went in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, is dating Parker Whitfield. The couple has gone public with their relationship, attending the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France together.
Whitfield is the daughter of Hollywood producer Salli Richardson-Whitfield and actor Dondré Whitfield. She’s set to begin her sophomore year at Spelman College, an HBCU in Atlanta, Georgia.
Over the weekend, Whitfield turned heads with her Instagram photo on social media.
“She so pretty,” Bronny wrote.
Earlier this month, Bronny James and his girlfriend sat courtside at a U.S. men’s basketball game at the Summer Olympics in Paris, France. The American team, led by Bronny’s dad, LeBron James, went on to win gold.
Parker has mostly stayed out of the public eye, as her Instagram page is private and she has just more than 6,000 followers. But there are basketball ties in her family.
Her mom was the director and executive producer for season two of HBO’s “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.”
The Lakers are set to open the 2024 NBA season in October.
