Bronny James has his first rating in NBA 2K25. At least that’s what’s being reported this Friday.
James, who was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft, has been awarded an overall rating of 68 for the game.
Fans quickly gave their takes on Bronny’s rating. As expected, they’re mixed.
“To put it in context, the highest-rated rookie this year is a 69 overall,” one tweet read.
“LOW!!!! should be low 50s,” another tweet read.
“Just right,” another fan tweeted.
“Just right. Has to prove himself,” another tweet read.
“Too high,” another tweet read.
James will get a chance to prove himself against NBA competition when he makes his regular season debut this fall. He’ll also have the chance to play alongside his father, who just helped Team USA win another gold medal at the Summer Olympics in Paris.
Before Bronny was drafted, he played at USC during the 2023-24 season, averaging 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. He also averaged 2.1 assists per game.
It’ll be fascinating to see how Bronny’s game translates over to the NBA. He has a lot of doubters to prove wrong after only playing in 25 college basketball games.
The 2024-25 NBA season will start in October.
