Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis is already dealing with plantar fasciitis. Now, Davis has another concern after catching a hit from Jakob Poeltl on Sunday.
Davis will have his left eye examined by an ophthalmologist on Monday. He was experiencing swelling and having trouble keeping his eye open following the Lakers win over the Raptors on Sunday.
Davis has played in nine of the Lakers first 10 games, despite being banged up. The Lakers have said he’ll continue to be day-to-day with the foot soreness. Los Angeles next plays on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
