LA Clippers on roll 38-30, finally healthy

March 19, 2025 by Los Angeles Sports Nation

The LA Clippers are fully healthy and are on a roll, having played less than 14 games of the season. The team is on a winning streak again. With their latest win last night, the Clippers are 38-30, and they are creeping on the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors for the top-six seed in the playoffs.

On Sunday, the Clippers won 123-88 over the Charlotte Hornets thanks to James Harden’s double-double night. Harden had 31 points and 10 rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard had 23 points. Derrick Jones Jr also contributed too, he had 12 points in the game. The Clippers have won six of its last seven, which includes wins against the Hornets, Hawks, Heat, Kings, Knicks, and the Pistons.  The Clippers currently, sit half-game out of the 7th seed and a game and a half from the sixth seed.

For the first time this season this month, Head Coach Ty Lue finally has his team healthy. It’s good news for the Clippers with how the injury was for Kawhi Leonard who missed the majority of the season out, and Norman Powell the last couple of weeks. With the team now on a roll, The team has to continue the trend they’ve been on and not go back on the losing end. The race for the 6th seed is getting tight, though both Golden State and Minnesota Timberwolves have been getting hot lately. Golden State Warriors are on a 7-game winning streak, and Minnesota Timberwolves have won 8 in a row.

The Clippers will have their entire rotation available for tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kris Dunn is also back in the lineup after missing one game. With the regular season coming to a close, the Clippers are looking to finish the regular season on a high note. Ty Lue will also lead the Clippers to a franchise 14th consecutive winning season. It would push them into a tie for the fourth-longest streak of winning seasons in NBA history.
