Ivicia Zubac played like an All-Star this season, carrying the Clippers to a 47-32 record. Zubac played like a Defensive-player of the year or most-improved player of the year. Saturday night, against the Dallas Mavericks Zubac made NBA history for the Clippers. Zubac put up 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists. Zubac was perfect putting up 11/11 shooting from the field.
According to STAT Mamba, Zubac became the first player in NBA history to put up 25 points and 10 rebounds without making any turnovers or misses. The Clippers also dominated the game against Dallas, winning by 31 points. Zubac also passed Clipper legend Bob McAdoo for 5th place on the Clipper’s all-time rebounds list.
Last night, the Clippers took care of the Spurs on the first night of a back-to-back. It was a good one for the team, as the Clippers defeated the Spurs 122-117 on Tuesday night. With Kawhi out, the Clippers fought hard against San Antonio in the win on Tuesday. Zubac anchored the team on Tuesday night, going 11-for-17 shooting from the field and 20 rebounds. With the win, the Clippers are now the 4th seed in the Western Conference.
James Harden continued his All-NBA campaign, with an almost triple-double with 21 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds in the win against the Spurs. As the Clippers gear up toward the playoffs, Ty Lue is making sure that all of his players will be ready and healthy for the playoffs. This Clippers team exceeded expectations, especially with the team losing Paul George to Philadelphia this past offseason, and Kawhi being injured to start the season. Overall the Clippers have done a great job in winning especially in their new home at the Intuit Dome!!!
