The NBA released its schedules for all teams, including the Clippers.
The Clippers will have 21 nationally televised games, 15 back-to-backs, and some “key” matchups this season at Intuit Dome.
The Clippers open the season on the road, starting in Utah on October 22.
They return home for their home opener at the Intuit Dome on October 24 against the Suns and then take on Portland on October 26.
National Spotlight Games
The Clippers will have 21 nationally televised games this season, broadcast on NBC/Peacock, ESPN, ABC, and Prime Video. Several matchups will come against the defending NBA champs, the OKC Thunder.
The other games will be against key Western Conference Rivals, ensuring the Clippers remain in the national conversation in the league.
Less Back-to-Backs
One key thing for the Clippers’ schedule this season is the back-to-back playing days. The last couple of years, the Clippers have had one of the most back-to-back games in the NBA.
This year is different.
The Clippers have only 15 games where they play back-to-back. This is an advantage for the Clippers, as it allows them to help limit Kawhi Leonard’s playing time.
Battle of LA
The first regular season for the always-favorite rivalry Lakers-Clippers will be Nov.25 at the Intuit Dome and will be part of the NBA Cup Showcase, airing nationally on NBC and Peacock.
Both teams will meet four times in the regular season, and fans will always be excited to see them face off.
As always, this is going to be another fun and exciting season of LA Clippers basketball.
The NBA season is right around the corner, and fans are excited to see the Clippers back in action again!
