With the NBA Finals just a couple of days away and the Clippers’ offseason underway, one thing that excites fans besides the NBA Finals and free agency is the always-favorite NBA draft.
The Clippers have a lot of work to do to take the next step and make the NBA finals, and that starts with drafting the next star in the league.
Although the Clippers are limited to their draft picks, they will use everything they have to improve.
Noah Penda
A potential NBA prospect Clippers fans would be excited to see is Le Mans forward Noah Penda. Noah Penda is similar to Batum because of his defensive ability on the floor during the game. He’s a good defender and averaged 1.4 steals per game this past season.
Noah Penda averaged 5.1 rebounds per game, as well as 2.6 assists. One primary concern is his field goal percentage. Noah Penda shot 30.4% from the three-point line and 69.3% from the free-throw line.
The Clippers have the 30th and 51st picks in this year’s draft.
Tahaad Pettiford
Another prospect Clipper fans should look out for besides Noah Penda is Auburn’s Tahaad Pettiford.
He’s a young playmaker to back up Harden in games.
Ryan Kalkbrenner
Another potential draft pick for the Clippers is Creighton’s Ryan Kalkbrenner.
Clipper fans will be excited to see how the next couple of months unfold, and as always, the offseason promises to be fun and exciting for the organization.
Lawrence Frank and the rest of the Clippers’ front office will be very active this offseason to deliver the Clippers their first championship soon, with a better and much-improved roster through free agency, trades, and the draft.
