Former U.S. President Barack Obama was a guest of Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and his wife Connie last night. Former First Lady Michelle Obama, on the other hand, was not.
According to TMZ, the 44th President of the United States had a nice time at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood last night as the Clippers beat the visiting Detroit Pistons 123-115. At one point, his presence was announced to the crowd, prompting the former President to get up out of his seat and wave to the applauding crowd.
Obama shook hands with Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue and was gifted a customized Clippers jersey with “Obama” and “44” on the back of it.
But some people have become curious over the absence of Michelle Obama in his last two public appearances. Prior to Wednesday’s NBA game, Obama was seen getting dinner with his daughters Malia and Sasha with Michelle also nowhere to be found.

It’s probably much ado about nothing though. Michelle Obama recently took to social media to post about Women’s History Month, suggesting that she’s working with specific organizations on programming to commemorate the month.
“The leaders in our @GirlsAlliance Network inspire me, and I’m shining a light on some of their stories this #WomensHistoryMonth,” the former First Lady wrote on Tuesday. “Meet Lolita Scott and Paulette Jones, who started Jumping Juniors to teach girls in Chicago to jump Double Dutch:

She has undoubtedly been busy and users on social media seem quite happy about the work she’s doing:
“That is so cool!!! In the 70’s, I was part of the Young G.A. Girls club at my church and we use to do Double Dutch jumping after our meetings. This post is a great way to showcase caring women who are promoting healthy body, minds, and souls. – ‘Happy Women’s Month!!'” one user wrote.
“Double Dutch brings back so many childhood memories. Amazing to see it being used to uplift and empower young girls in Chicago. Big respect to Lolita Scott and Paulette Jones,” wrote another.
“I love this! Shout out to all the leaders doing this very important work! God Bless our baby girls and keep them safe!”
