Notes
Who Plays: The Clippers beat the Jazz over the weekend, but the Jazz were not playing nearly any of their veterans. The Jazz vets did play last night in defeating the Lakers, so there’s a chance they get rested on the second night of a back-to-back. However, this is the last game before the All Star Break, so maybe they just play anyway. For the Clippers, we know Kawhi Leonard will be out, but the status of several other players, including newcomers Ben Simmons and Bogdan Bogdanovic are up in the air. If the Clippers are short-handed and the Jazz play their guys, this is not a gimme win, not on the second night of a back-to-back on the road. It’s still a game the Clippers should win, but it would be a much more serious affair. If things swing the other way, this shifts into true “must win” territory for the Clips.
