The Los Angeles Clippers have been busy this offseason, revamping their rotation in order to fortify their chances of winning the next NBA championship. Most of their memorable moves have featured bigger names, namely the quartet of Bradley Beal, Brook Lopez, John Collins and Chris Paul. Of course, they’ve had to part with Norman Powell in the process.
Nonetheless, the general consensus is that they’re a better team than they were this time last year.
With that being said, the Clippers have also made multiple moves on the margins that should benefit them as well. The first was taking former Penn State center Yanic Konan Niederhauser, who has the potential to be a defensive standout, with the 30th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. They also recently signed 2022 No. 29 pick TyTy Washington Jr., who was once a top-15 high school recruit.
Clippers Re-Sign 2024-25 Standout Jordan Miller
L.A.’s latest under-the-radar decision was to re-sign 2023 No. 48 pick Jordan Miller. It’ll be a two-way deal, per HoopsHype insider Michael Scotto. Interestingly, the 25-year-old was waived in July, possibly as a precursor to the Beal and Collins transactions. However, despite being released, Miller’s play in 2024-25 suggested they would have a longer partnership.

In fact, after signing a two-way contract with Los Angeles in 2023, they converted his contract to a standard deal in March 2025.
What Jordan Miller Brings
Notably, Miller averaged 10.9 points per game last season when playing at least 20 minutes.
He was particularly effective in his G League assignments, averaging 24.5 points per game. The 6-foot-7 wing followed this up with an outstanding performance in the 2026 Summer League, averaging 22.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while shooting 38.5 percent from 3. This led to Miller earning All-Summer League First Team honors for the second straight year.

With that in mind, the Clippers combination of age, health and durability is a legitimate concern. The George Mason and Miami product may not keep L.A. in title contention. However, as a dynamic three-level scorer with respectable perimeter defense, Miller could truly be useful if called up.
