After starting the season at 6-21, the Los Angeles Clippers are now 13-22.
The team is playing much better as a whole, and in part, that has helped it move from 13th to 11th in the West.
Kawhi Leonard has also been hot lately for the Clippers.
Kawhi Leonard has been averaging 39 points/8.5 rebounds/4 assists/2.7 steals /1.5 blocks on 62.5% field goals. Kawhi and Harden have been on a roll lately, together helping the team score and the Clippers climb back up the Western Conference standings.
In the win last week against Utah on New Year’s Day, Kawhi Leonard had 45 points, and James Harden had 20 points in a 118-101 win over the Jazz. Clippers hit 7- 3 pointers, with Kawhi making 4 of those. Though Utah came back at the midpoint of the game, the resilient Clippers, who were on a winning streak, came out on top.
The Clippers’ team chemistry lately has really helped them climb back into a play-in/playoff position in the Western Conference.
With lots of time left in the season, the Clippers are still on pace to finish the season at 35-20.
