The Clippers’ busy and amazing offseason just hit a big downside.
Bogdan Bogdanovic was injured in a game while playing overseas for Serbia.
Bogdanovic was playing well for Serbia in the EuroBasket, scoring seven points and getting five rebounds.
Although Bogdanovic was playing physically for his country, Serbia, he had to leave the game due to a hamstring injury and did not return.
Those are some issues that Bogdan Bogdanovic dealt with during his time with the Atlanta Hawks. Bogdanovic was relatively healthy upon his arrival with the Clippers last year at the trade deadline. Clippers head coach Ty Lue doesn’t want to deal with any big surprises coming from any of his key starters and role players before the season starts.
After the injury to Bogdanovic, Bogdan flew back to Los Angeles, where he will begin his rehab session in preparation for the NBA season. Depending on the length and time frame needed for Bogdan to recover, there shouldn’t be anything to worry about for the Clippers team, as well as for Clipper fans, too.
Unfortunately, this will definitely happen a lot, which Clippers fans know as an “Injury bug to its best players,” in which case it started with Bogdan Bogdanovic. So far, losing Bogdanovic with an injury is the big loss the Clippers have had this whole offseason.
Moreover, although the Clippers have already suffered a significant loss due to an injury to one of their key players, the team is more motivated and excited to get on the court and prepare for the season.
