The Clippers had a hectic offseason, acquiring Bradley Beal, John Collins, Brook Lopez, and Chris Paul.
This has definitely made the Clippers already a much deeper and more talented team.
Bradley Beal explained in a recent interview from his offseason workout that he believes the Clippers can win a championship with Kawhi and James Harden. With the addition of Bradley Beal and Chris Paul, as well as the combo of Kawhi and Harden, the Clippers have a deep roster now in comparison to last season.
Bradley Beal said in the interview that “I need a ring.” Beal’s first move as a Clipper was letting Chris Paul retain his number 3 jersey for the Clippers out of respect for Paul’s first stint with the Clippers. With the success Beal had when he was with the Wizards and Suns, Bradley Beal wants to prove that he’s still the best player that he is and reach the NBA Finals like Chris Paul, Kawhi, and James Harden.
Bradley Beal on joining the Clippers:
“I’ve got a new life of rejuvenation for sure, a new hunger.”
The Clippers are looking to make a deep run like in the 2021 postseason, but only this time the team has Chris Paul, Harden, Beal, Brook Lopez, John Collins, and Kawhi Leonard. For players going to the Clippers and wanting to chase an NBA title, the Clippers organization hasn’t been very successful in the past.
With the additions of getting talent the last couple of years, and an owner that wants to win in Ballmer, plus now the team plays in the Intuit Dome, the Clippers are doing the right things to rewrite their history.
Bradley Beal fell short during his time with the Suns with Booker and Durant in trying to deliver the Suns a championship, but on the Clippers, Beal has the best chance to finally get a championship this season.
