Back on December 20, things were really different for the LA Clippers.
The Clippers were near the bottom of the Western Conference, at 6-21.
It looked like the season was already over for the team, and fans also thought it was time for a rebuild.
The Clippers went on a 15-3 run over the next couple of weeks to reach a 21-24 record, a huge improvement.
No NBA team in franchise history has ever finished above .500 after starting the season at 6-21.
With lots of time left in the NBA season, the Clippers are looking to make history.
Kawhi Leonard has been the leading scorer in the NBA, averaging 31.8 points per game. Harden has also gotten his share of points as well. He’s been averaging 25.1 points over that period of stretch.
This has been helping the Clippers a lot recently, because the team has the best scoring differential in the Western Conference after starting 6-21.

Well, the Clippers did just that in that span. The 1952-53 Washington Bullets made the playoffs after starting the season at 6-21. The 84-85 Cavs also made the playoffs after starting 6-21.
The Clippers began the season at a terrible start 6-21, not looking like a playoff-caliber team. A month later, the team is right back in the thick of a playoff race with lots of time left. At 21-24, the Clippers are only 3 games under .500.
The Clippers currently sit at 10th in the Western Conference, with a huge hole they were able to climb out of that has been remarkable, thanks to the coaching staff, and the fans sure love seeing their LA Clippers winning as of late.
