Triple-A Oklahoma City
The Comets defeated the Las Vegas Aviators (Athletics) 8-6. The Aviators scored the first five runs of the game against Comets starter Matt Sauer. The game turned in the top of the sixth, when Garrett McDaniels got out of a bases loaded jam by inducing an inning ending double play. Dean drove in a run with a bases loaded single, then James Outman cleared the bases with a double, giving the Comets a two-run lead.
