What’s your go-to Wordle starting word?

I enjoyed Wordle, but found it somewhat addictive for a time. In addition to the standard game, I played several variants, up to Duotrigordle, which involves playing 32 Wordles at once. My best on that was solving in 34 words.

I stopped playing Wordle and all the offshoot games for nearly an entire year. But in July 2024, I got back into it for a few weeks. After a three-week respite, I went back in on August 29, 2024, and solved Wordle in one word. The word was FLUNK, but I finally passed the test.

But I do still enjoy the game, and love that folks here at True Blue LA still share their gameplay in the comments just about every morning.

So today’s question to start the weekend is this: What’s your go-to word to start Wordle?
