Slug was one of the best ways to define the Dodgers in 2025. They led the
National League with 244 home runs and a .441 slugging percentage — a second consecutive season that they led the league in both categories. Power at the plate paved the way to comeback wins, historic performances and wow moments.
These were the 10 farther home runs of the regular season and postseason:
1. 469 feet — Shohei Ohtani vs. Brewers

Date: Oct. 17
Ballpark: Dodger Stadium
Pitcher: Chad Patrick
Pitch Type: 89.3 MPH Cutter
Game Impact: The solo home run landed over the Right Field Pavilion roof — the longest of Ohtani’s career. It was also one of eight home runs to ever be hit out of Dodger Stadium in its 63-year history. Ohtani extended the Dodgers’ lead to 4–0 in the fourth in their eventual 5–1 win in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series.

Game Impact: Ohtani’s solo homer extended the Dodgers’ lead to 8–0 in the sixth inning in Game 1 of the National League Wild Card Series. It was his second home run in the game. The Dodgers beat the Reds 10–5.

Game Impact: Freeman crushed a first-pitch fastball to right-center field to start the scoring with a two-run homer. It was the longest home run of his career. The Dodgers won 9–5. Freeman went 2-for-5.
