For those who continue to say – and believe – the Dodgers are “ruining baseball,” I’ve got some bad news for you. While fans of those teams claiming the Dodgers are “ruining baseball,” two-time consecutive World Series champion Dodgers owners Mark Walter, Magic Johnson, Peter Guber, Stan Kasten, Bobby Patton, and Todd Boehly (i.e. – Guggenheim Baseball Management) are already taking steps to become Major League Baseball’s next three-peat team, of which there have been only four in what will be MLB’s storied 157-year history. If that prevail, they will join the New York Yankees (1936–1939, 1949–1953) and 1998–2000, and the Oakland Athletics (1972–1974) to do so.

Here’s what GBM has done so far:
Roster and free agent signings
- Max Muncy: The club exercised its $10 million option for the third baseman.
- Alex Vesia: The team picked up the $3.55 million option for the lefty reliever.
- Ronan Kopp: The 40-man roster was expanded to include the left-hander from Triple-A OKC.
- Ryan Ward: The outfielder was also added to the 40-man roster.
- Eliézer Alfonzo: The catcher was signed to a minor league contract.
Trades
- Robinson Ortiz: Traded to the Seattle Mariners for right-handed pitcher Tyler Gough.
