If you are a ‘skeptical’ person by nature, it is a difficult time to be a Dodgers fan.
If you are a ‘Just the facts, ma’am’ type of person, it is even worse.
“Um, you know, it’s sort of on repeat right now, I don’t know the answer,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts replied when asked about his team’s 2-1 loss on five hits to the AL East last place Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park on Friday. “I know each day guys come in fresh, prepared, and, you know, expecting a different result, but, you know, we just haven’t been able to string hits together and put up a crooked number and, you know, get a lead. So, again, it’s not for lack of effort, we’re trying, and, yeah, we’re just not getting it done,” Roberts added.

A skeptical reply.
“I figured I was going to get talked to after this game and I was trying to come up with some answers, and sometimes you just don’t have the right answers,” Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman replied when asked about his team’s lack of offense. “And really, just not gonna sit here and use some clichés, we’re just not playing very good. Our pitching was great tonight, offensively, not very good. There’s no sugarcoating this, we need to figure this out and figure this out quick,” added the future Hall of Famer.

A ‘Just the facts, ma’am’ reply.
Now would be good.
