Former Dodger Andy Kosco passes away

Andy Kosco, the power-hitting outfielder who compiled 27 home runs during his two seasons with the Dodgers in 1969 and 1970, passed away on December 19. He was 84.
The Ohio native spent 10 seasons in the Major League with seven teams and hit 73 total home runs.
Los Angeles acquired Kosco from the New York Yankees on Dec. 4, 1968, in exchange for pitcher Mike Kekich.
With the Dodgers, Kosco slashed .241/.265/.410/.675 in 194 games with 25 doubles and 101 RBI. In 1969, Kosco led the Dodgers with 19 home runs and 74 RBI while playing 40 games in left field, 74 games in right field and three games at first base.
The Dodgers traded Kosco to the Milwaukee Brewers on Feb. 10, 1971 in exchange for pitcher Al Downing.
