I’ll keep this one short and to the point:

As noted above, both Dodgers runs were driven in by 30-year-old Dodgers second baseman Tommy Edman – the first on his 393-foot solo home run to left-center field to lead off the bottom of the third inning, and the second on his too little, too late RBI single to left with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.

Although every Dodger fan on the planet is upset with their team’s ugly 8-2 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday to now make it two games to one in the best of five 2025 NLDS, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts‘ team still has one more shot to seal the deal at home on Thursday afternoon. If they do not, there would be a Game-5 at what would be a very loud and un-brotherly-love-like Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, October 11.
“I feel good with where we’re at,” Roberts answered, when asked if he and his team can “flush” this one. “Would have loved to gotten (Phillies right-handed closer Jhoan) Duran in the game tonight, but yeah, I feel good with where we’re at and it’s certainly flushed.”

Thursday’s NLDS Game-4 at Dodger Stadium has a first-pitch scheduled for 3:08 p.m. PT and will again be carried live on TBS television and AM 570 LA Sports radio.
Dodgers fans can only hope that Wednesday’s game has indeed been “flushed.”
