A couple of elite pitchers battle it out at Dodger Stadium
Jack Flaherty will make only his second start at Dodger Stadium since coming over at the deadline. The potential for a terrific outing is outstanding, as the Dodgers’ healthy ace will face the most strikeout-prone offense in the AL.
The Dodgers’ offense, albeit with significantly better tools to cope with, also will have their work cut out for them, facing Logan Gilbert and his league-leading WHIP (0.882).
Miguel Rojas was scratched from the lineup with a “balky” hamstring.
