On May 14 against the A’s, it’s Star Wars Night at Dodger Stadium, and the giveaway that night really leans into the Evil Empire moniker.
The largesse of the Dodgers offseason, coupled with the two record-setting contracts signed last offseason and a 2024 championship has created such a stir that the term “Evil Empire” has been thrown around willy-nilly to describe Los Angeles.
On Thursday the Dodgers announced their slate of themed nights at Dodger Stadium for 2025, and one specific date really leaned into the bit.
May 14 is the middle game of a three-game series against the Sacramento A’s, and it’s also Star Wars Night in LA. The giveaway that night is a replica of Dodger Stadium with the Death Star hovering over the ballpark.
