After an off day Monday, the Dodgers hit the road. The first stop is Coors Field in Denver, where they will face the Rockies on Tuesday night.
Justin Wrobleski gets the ball, though it’s not yet known whether the left-hander will start or follow an opener.
It’ll likely be the first of two games during the week, after an impressive run of appearances during this current major league stint. Wrobleski retired his first 11 batters faced and pitched the final five innings of a win over the Padres on Wednesday. He allowed two runs, one of them earned, against San Diego, and in his last four games with the Dodgers has allowed seven total runs (six earned) in 19⅓ innings, with 17 strikeouts against only three walks.
Germán Márquez lines up to start the opener for the Rocies, having allowed just one run over his last two starts, in 10⅔ innings.
This is the second meeting of the year between the first-place Dodgers and last-place Rockies. Los Angeles swept the first go-around, winning three games at Dodger Stadium from April 14-16.
